By far the most common form of “mid ride” nutrition are carbohydrate gels - often simply referred to ask “carbo gels” or “gels”

Although not the cheapest form of “mid ride” cycling fuel, they are incredibly convenient and do a great job at replacing expended carbohydrate - essential for keeping you going.
